How to Install the VANNON Bike Mount on a 2019+ Sprinter Van

Looking for a clean, secure way to mount your Park Tool bike clamp to the rear door of your Sprinter van? No swing-outs. No clutter. Just a solid, streamlined solution that integrates beautifully—whether you're running stock factory plastics or VANNON MOLLE panels.

The VANNON Bike Mount was designed with simplicity and strength in mind. This step-by-step install guide will walk you through exactly how to get it set up and ready for use, so you can keep your tools accessible and your van dialed.

Fits:

  • 2019+ Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Vans (rear door)

Compatible With:

  • Factory interior plastics

  • VANNON MOLLE panels

What’s in the Box?

Everything you need for a clean, pro-grade install:

  • 6 rivnuts (for the outer perimeter mounting holes)

  • 6 1/4-20 screws with washers

  • 2 acorn nuts with washers (to attach the Park Tool clamp base)

What You’ll Need:

Before you start, grab these tools:

  • 25/64" drill bit (for installing the rivnuts)

  • 5/32" Allen wrench or T-handle (for driving the screws)

  • Rivnut installation tool

Step-by-Step Install Instructions:

Step 1: Prep the Door Panel
If your van has windows, start by removing the rear plastic trim. You'll find two factory holes on the left-side rear door panel—these will guide your first two rivnuts.

If your van doesn’t have windows, hold the mounting plate in place to mark the location of the first two bolt holes on the left. Drill these out using your 25/64" bit.

Step 2: Install the First Two Rivnuts
Use your rivnut installation tool to secure the two left-side rivnuts into place. These will anchor the plate and help you align the rest of the install.

Step 3: Position and Mark the Remaining Holes
Mount the plate temporarily using the two rivnuts you just installed. With the plate in position, mark the remaining four perimeter holes. Remove the plate, then drill those out using the same bit.

Step 4: Finish the Rivnut Install
Install the remaining four rivnuts using your tool. Once all six are in, you're ready to bolt up.

Step 5: Secure the Plate
Reposition the bike plate and secure it with the six 1/4-20 screws and included washers using your Allen wrench.

Step 6: Mount the Park Tool Clamp Base
Use the two acorn nuts and washers to attach your Park Tool clamp base to the threaded holes on the plate. Once that’s secure, slide in your clamp, tighten the handle, and you’re ready to go.

Clean Storage When You’re Not Wrenching

One of the best parts? When you're not using the Park Tool clamp, just remove it and leave the post behind. The mount keeps a clean, low-profile look that won’t interfere with your rear cargo space or door function.

Why It Matters:

A rear-door-mounted clamp isn’t just about convenience—it’s about making your mobile garage work harder for you. Stop kneeling down in the dirt to work on your bike. Whether you're a serious cyclist, a weekend racer, or just like to keep your drivetrain dialed, having a solid, easy-to-use clamp ready to go at the back of your van saves time, space, and hassle.

Final Thoughts:

The VANNON Bike Mount delivers exactly what mobile cyclists and vanlifers need: clean lines, minimal footprint, and rock-solid utility. No swing arms. No clutter. Just function-forward design that integrates with your build.
