LITE Series Van Builds: Two Platforms, Two Missions

LITE Series Van Builds: Two Platforms, Two Missions

The VANNON LITE Series is designed to deliver maximum capability in a lightweight, modular platform. While each LITE Series build shares the same core design principles, the final configuration can be tailored to serve very different use cases. These two vans showcase how the same LITE Series template supports both Agile Offroad overlanding and adventure sport–focused travel.

Purpose-Built Exterior Configurations

Adventure Van

The adventure-focused build is configured for versatility, group travel, and gear-heavy trips to the mountains and backcountry. The exterior is equipped with an Agile Offroad RIP kit, BF Goodrich KO2 tires (275s), and Black Rhino rims. Additional upgrades include VANNON running rails, a VANNON bumper step, and a full VANNON rack system, providing functional access, protection, and cargo capability for a wide range of outdoor activities.

Agile Offroad Overland Van

The Agile Offroad Overland build is engineered for off-road performance and demanding terrain. This van also utilizes an Agile Offroad RIP kit, paired with larger 285 BF Goodrich KO2 tires mounted on Agile Offroad Overlander rims. Front-end protection and recovery equipment include Baja Designs lights, a push bar, and a Warn winch.

Beneath the van, a full undercarriage skid plate system and an Agile Offroad rear locker increase durability and traction, while the Agile Offroad big brake kit enhances stopping power. AMP Research retractable steps provide additional ground clearance without sacrificing accessibility.

Interior Layout & Engineering Philosophy

While both interiors share the same foundational layout, seating configurations differ by mission. The adventure van is set up to drive five, supporting group travel, while the Agile Offroad overland build is configured to drive three, prioritizing space and off-road functionality.

VANNON interiors are engineered with efficiency in mind. Every inch of space is intentionally designed to maximize utility. Traditional wood and residential materials are replaced with unibody aluminum cabinetry and composite boxes, delivering structural strength while reducing overall weight and improving performance on rugged terrain.

Modular Sleeping & Cargo System

At the rear of each van is the Flight Deck bed system, a fully modular, three-panel design. When installed, it provides a comfortable sleeping platform. When removed, it creates a large open area for cargo, gear storage, or interior lounge space, allowing the van to adapt quickly to changing trip demands.

Power, Water & Climate Systems

Both vans are equipped with a 22-gallon hot and cold hydro system and an ECOFLOW power system featuring an 8-inch touchscreen control panel. Charging options include shore power, alternator, and solar, ensuring consistent power availability on or off the grid.

Climate control differs by build. The adventure van includes an air conditioning system, while the Agile Offroad Overland build utilizes a MAXXAIR fan, aligning with a lighter, more minimalist off-road approach.

LITE Series Capability Without Compromise

Despite the lightweight focus, the LITE Series offers the same core amenities found in the VANNON APEXX Series. The difference lies in intent: the LITE Series prioritizes modularity, durability, and reduced weight, making it ideal for users who demand performance without unnecessary mass.
